Narrogin Solar Farm & Battery Energy Storage System (Battery) is proposed as a 200 MWDC solar farm and 4-hour 200 MW battery located on private land south of the township of Narrogin in regional Western Australia. The project will connect to the grid at the Narrogin South Substation to enable power to be exported into Western Australia’s electricity market. If approved and constructed, the land will remain under agricultural management with sheep able to graze amongst the solar panels. The project is being developed as part of TagEnergy’s commitment to help Australia transition to a clean energy future.
