Kerang Hybrid is a proposed 161 MWDC Solar Farm with a 55 MW 2-hour battery (AC coupled) located on private land adjacent to the Kerang Terminal Station, south of Kerang in regional Victoria. The Project received Development Approval from Gannawarra Shire Council in 2012, and grid connection approval (5.3.4A) from AEMO in July 2025. Construction is expected to commence late 2025.

The project is being developed as part of TagEnergy’s commitment to help Australia transition to a clean energy future.

Location

The project will be located on two private land parcels south of Kerang in regional Victoria, accessible via Loddon Valley Highway and Old Echuca Road. Network connection will be via the Kerang Terminal Station which is adjacent to the northern project site.
