BatteryPaterson Battery is a proposed 150 MW Battery Energy Storage System (Battery) located on private land east of Western Power’s 132 kV Pinjarra substation. The project is currently undertaking development and grid connection activities alongside community consultation. The project will assist in firming Western Australia’s electricity network and improving network resilience.
The project is being developed as part of TagEnergy’s commitment to facilitate Australia’s energy transition.
The project will be located on private land outside Ravenswood in regional Western Australia.
TagEnergy has undertaken environmental surveys and community consultation activities to support the Development Application. Engagement with Western Power is underway to facilitate the connection of the battery to Pinjarra substation. The project team welcomes feedback from the community regarding the proposed project.
