TagEnergy is a clean energy enterprise for a new cycle in the renewable energy industry. It was formed in 2019 to accelerate the energy transition by developing and investing in competitive and clean power stations in order to compete directly and actively on the energy markets.

Renewables have now become the main source of energy able to provide both social responsibility and price efficiency, and we are delivering this in the countries where we have established our activity.

​TagEnergy is operated by a highly-experienced team of manager-shareholders. Its operations span the renewables value chain, from development, financing, construction and asset management of wind, solar and storage projects, to commercialisation of its competitive energy.

TagEnergy has assembled a portfolio of more than 6 GW in the UK, Australia, Spain, Portugal and France, and intends to drive the pace of transition through projects that deliver reliable energy affordably, and at scale.

In Australia, TagEnergy has 1.33GW of renewable energy projects under construction and operation, including the largest onshore wind project underway in the Southern Hemisphere, Victoria’s Golden Plains Wind Farm.

Shareholders

TagEnergy was founded in 2019 as part of the Impala SAS Group, owned by Jacques Veyrat. Veyrat and Impala have a strong history of entrepreneurial success, creating and growing major players in renewable energy and telecommunications, including Cegetel, Direct Energie and Neoen.

  • Today, TagEnergy is controlled by TagHolding, a joint venture between the Impala SAS Group and Exor N.V., and TagTeam Holding, the holding company for TagEnergy’s manager-shareholders.
  • Other key shareholders include Mirova and Omnes.
  • Impala is the investment holding company of French entrepreneur Jacques Veyrat and his family. Impala is the main shareholder of Neoen, TagEnergy, Eiffel Investment Group, Laboratoire Native, P&B Group, Augustinus Bader, Edgyn, and Inexto. Impala invests its own capital, without any time constraints, in projects with strong potential for long-term development.
  • Exor is the diversified holding company controlled by the Agnelli family. With a Net Asset Value of over €34 billion, its portfolio is principally made up of companies in which Exor is the largest shareholder: Ferrari, Stellantis, CNH Industrial, Juventus FC, Iveco Group, The Economist, GEDI Gruppo Editoriale and SHANG XIA.
  • Mirova is a French leading sustainable asset manager and affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers. Mirova has close to €28 billion in assets under management, with approximately €2 billion invested in the energy transition infrastructure sector through five funds.
  • Omnes is a leading private equity and infrastructure investor with over €5 billion of assets under management, including over €3 billion purely in renewable energy investments
